Eye controle

Today, I just wanted to show you how i do plan a page according to the reader eye. You can see in blue, the direction your eye is supposed to take in the page 4. Of course, I don't know if it works or not, but this is how I imagine it. To make it happens,...

Big feet

Story Board..

Hope you had a nice Christmas.. Today, let's see some story boards. When I have all my story in my head, I try to put it down on paper. The aim of this part is not to make nice drawing or whatever, but mainly to know what to put and where in the pannel....

Goya again

One year ago, i was actually thinking of Ville Usine already... For some times i wanted to do a comics with giants. I didn't know what exactely... But I knew I had to work on it. Originaly this idea came from a painting of Goya : Colossus. I'm a big fan...

Goya...

Today, just few words about one article illustration. It concerns the text that the CGT wrote and signed. I did an illustration to go with. Lots of people on strike. Among those people, there is one, a bit special: I put this one for a special reason....

Where to find my work...

Before Ville Usine, I've been doing a lot of things... Mainly short stories, black and white... I usually publish my work in collectives from all around the world. Every Angouleme comics festival, I used to publish my work of the year in an artist book...

The missing panel...

When I was making this comics, it was first planned to be in 10 pages... Then, I had a new idea: making a daily newspaper look-a-like... Problem: 10 pages can't be divided by 8. So, I added 2 comics pages and 4 article pages... 16 pages, it works. As...
